Training services – customized training on corporate risk management!

We do and prepare customized risk management and insurance training for the company’s needs, and we are producing training material also as part of the company’s own training organization!

Content of the Services

The training services include various topics and sub-entities from the company’s operational risk management topics.

Typical topics are e.g. transportation risk management, Incoterms 2020 delivery clauses, project risk management, travel safety, enterprise risk management (ERM), business continuity plans (BCP), general insurance training and contract risk management.

Training for SMEs on risk management and various solutions

SMEs often perceive risk management as insurance taken out, which in itself is one of the essential risk management tools. However, it must be remembered that the most important risk management tool, regardless of the size of the company and the industry, is the contracts entered into by the company!

In training, we often bring up the old phrase “a bad contract cannot be insured” but the risks are managed by the contracts and the clauses they contain, one of the most important of which is probably “Limitation of Liability”

Take care of the company's general sales, procurement and project agreements!

It is possible for SMEs to choose and use various general contract terms, which can e.g. limit the seller’s responsibilities. Depending on the industry, there are contract terms that are generally used in the Nordic countries and terms that are used worldwide, such as the Orgalime terms in projects or the NL / NLM terms of the Finnish Technology Industry Association.

In some cases, SMEs have refined their own contract library and utilized existing general terms and conditions to manage contract risks. The most important thing is that the company has the tools and methods to manage contract risks!
